Welcome to Message Channel!

Channel
If you have a broadband internet connection and your friends and
family are in your Wii address book, then you can have fun
communicating with them back and forth using the Message Channel.
This is great, because you can enjoy talking with friends and family
all over the world. You can write them a nice note or a letter and
send it to them using the message board, or you can also send them
unique and fun photos that you have created just for them, using the
Photo Channel. This would be a good thing for grandparents who want
to talk to grandchildren who live far away. It is also fun for
friends who live right next door to send messages back and forth to
each other. If parents want to keep track of how much time their
children are spending on the Wii and what they have been doing,
there is a way to track this. You can go to the Wii menu and on the
bottom right corner of the screen there is an envelope. It will show
you the game playing history and all of the messages that were sent.
This cannot be deleted. The calander on the message board is
wonderful for busy families. It helps you keep track of everything.
It can be used to keep track of birthdays, holidays and all the
places where everyone needs to go. The Message Channel will also
send you notifications from games updating you on awards that you
have received. This is great if you want to keep track of how many
wins that you have. There is a new feature that is available where
you can also receive news from Nintendo on the latest upgrades for
the Wii and what to expect from them next.
